Your grandmother was born in 1941 in the United States. Those born between 1925 and 1942 are known as The Silent Generation. In the workplace, they are characterized as possessing excellent interpersonal skills, and measuring work ethic on timeliness, productivity, and not drawing attention (University of Missouri Extension).
Your grandmother owns a farm that uses all organic methods to grow tomatoes. She also has many varieties that are not available in the mass market. She has always sold to local grocers and through word of mouth. She wants to expand the business and sell more product to more people.
Write a letter of at least 350 words to your grandmother explaining your recommendations for marketing her product. Include the following in your letter:
- 2 of the latest trends in consumer behavior that could influence her marketing strategy
- 2 marketing variables that could impact sales in a positive or negative way
